Job Description

DSI is looking for a dynamic New Business Development Manager to support new opportunities across the full spectrum of its integrated service lines, including its Global Commercial Team (sponsorship sales and brokerage), MKTG (brand and sponsorship strategy, execution and management), and Dentsu Sports Analytics (sponsorship research, insights and measurement)

Reporting to the SVP, Commercial Sales for North America, this position will play an integral role in executing the sales strategy in North America, bolstering commercial opportunities across all businesses. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of activities and be part of a growing team with consistent opportunities for development.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Internally, you will support and drive major new pitches, bringing together different parts of the businesses into a cohesive and collaborative group.
  • You will partner with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the new business process, working to establish expectations, provide status updates, hand off project deliverables and field feedback.
  • Assist with research, lead generation, brand outreach and pitch deck development.
  • Manage in-bound and proactive pitch opportunities (RFP & RFI).
  • Manage internal new business resources (case studies, credentials, etc.)
  • Assist and collaborate with service lines and regional offices within Dentsu Group to organize exchanges and enable sports offerings and consulting capabilities into one-stop solutions for Dentsu Group's brand clients.
  • Support other regional and cross-border sales opportunities and projects.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar sports and entertainment sales or business development support role; this could be agency, brand or rights holder side.

  • You are equally comfortable using words, imagery and data to tell a story
  • You have a fledgling sales instinct – able to spot an opportunity and act on it
  • Proven track record winning new business pitches in an agency environment

 

This is a hybrid position, with the office location being in New York City.

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500/ year.

Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
