The Senior Analyst, Media Analytics works closely with clients and internal planning teams to ensure that the success of online efforts is properly accounted for. As part of the Analytics Group, the Senior Analyst, helps to measure the performance of online campaigns, illustrates clients' return on investment, and provides insights into improving performance. You will utilize various measurement tools and provides timely in-depth reporting, analysis and optimizing solutions. The Senior Analyst, is expected to be an active participant on the business, consistently engaged and contributing ideas and insights that will benefit our clients.

You will report to a Senior Manager, Analytics.

Analytics and Execution:

  • You will partner with the digital planning team to create an appropriate measurement strategy for each campaign, create and deliver regular media reports, and analyze data on an ad hoc basis
  • With the support of the media team, you will develop tests and forecasts necessary for decision making
  • You will observe, evaluate trends of digital campaigns and provide recommendations for optimizing
  • You will manage the daily responsibilities of data querying and analyzing data for multiple accounts
  • You will ensure that quality and timeliness of measurement deliverables meet client expectations
  • You will aid in the creation of client media objectives and strategies
  • You will write POVs for clients
  • You will create/maintain forecasting models for business performance using revenue, cost, clicks, etc. on a monthly and/or quarterly basis to support business planning and strategy needs
  • You will perform variance analysis to compare actual results to forecasts and/or proposed budgets providing insights and explanations

  • You will proactively resolve issues, know when to and to whom to escalate
  • You will provide guidance to team members nurture/promote team environment
  • You will respond appropriately when presented with problems and issues
  • You will help in the training of junior team members
  • You will be capable of managing multiple deliverables and ability to seamlessly transition among them

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree (quantitative field preferred)
  • 2-4 years' experience in analytics
  • Must be able to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Tableau
  • Knowledge of the media planning processes a plus
  • Hands on experience with third party tracking and reporting tools such as Google Suite of Tools, Social Platforms, DSPs, etc.
  • Comfort working with large relational data sets
  • Clear understanding of the latest trends and developments in post analysis

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Salary is based on a variety of factors includ ing relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
