Job Description

We are looking to add a Senior Associate, Media Planner supporting a large CPG brand. You will report into the Senior Director. This hybrid role is based in the River North neighborhood of Chicago, IL.

As the Senior Associate, Media Planner, you will demonstrate a working knowledge of the media space, for primarily TV and available media research. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Helping develop communications strategy for brand and assigned campaigns
  • Analyzing consumer behavior, market trends and brand's goals to best reach target audience
  • Assisting with media plan output, accuracy, and overall excellence
  • Partnering with activation department leads to outline appropriate processes and timelines
  • Fostering relationships with media community; continue to develop publisher and higher relationships for exchange of ideas
  • Assisting with QA, budgeting, and billing
  • Conducting reporting

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of TV Planning Experience (Broadcast, Cable, Streaming)
  • Exposure to audience research and targeting
  • Understanding of TV Math (GRP, On air), Running Reach Frequencies, Reporting, and Budgeting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MediaTools

Desired, Not Required:

  • Experience with CPG/ food/ beverage
  • Digital media planning experience
  • Familiarity with Prisma, MediaOcean, HudsonMX

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000- 83,375. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
