Job Description

dentsu is seeking a dynamic Salesforce Practice Lead to spearhead our multi-cloud Salesforce practice in the Philippines. The successful candidate will work closely with the DGS Head of Salesforce and the Philippine Managing Director to drive the overall performance, development, and growth of our Salesforce capabilities. This role demands a combination of strategic vision, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record in delivering cutting-edge Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Salesforce practice in alignment with global objectives. Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CRM.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain robust relationships with clients at all levels, providing expert consultation and tailored solutions that exceed expectations. Understand client business needs and leverage Salesforce technology to enhance their business operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high-quality standards in all implementations.
  • Team Development: Lead a high-performing Salesforce team, setting clear goals and expectations. Manage performance through regular evaluations and provide ongoing training and development to maintain high competency levels.
  • Innovation and Growth: Collaborate with sales and alliance teams to explore new business opportunities. Contribute expertise to sales pitches and proposals to expand the client portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing Salesforce solutions with a strong understanding of various Salesforce clouds, including Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CRM.
  • Proven ability to conduct high-level meetings with C-suite and managerial staff, gaining insights into their business objectives and digital strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying and driving innovative solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Excellent skills in proposal creation and problem-solving, with the ability to match client challenges with bespoke solutions.
  • Keen observer of industry trends and technological advancements within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Leadership Qualities:

  • Ability to build, mentor, and lead a team of Salesforce professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous skill enhancement.
  • Experience in setting and managing performance metrics and development plans for team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining and advancing team certifications and specializations to meet partnership goals and enhance service capabilities.

Practice Area Development:

  • Serve as a thought leader, contributing to knowledge sharing through blogs, speaking engagements, and demos.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of development tools, languages, and Salesforce solutions.
  • Develop and enforce engineering standards and best practices within the team.

Project and Customer Management:

  • Ensure excellence in project delivery, maintaining standards and supporting the sales team in pre-sales estimations and solution engineering.
  • Foster a client-centric approach within the team, coaching members to deliver outstanding service and solutions.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify potential risks at the beginning of each project or engagement. Develop and implement robust risk mitigation strategies to manage and reduce risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regular Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to monitor and evaluate the risks associated with the project environments, ensuring that all potential issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and maintain a crisis management plan to handle unexpected issues efficiently without significant disruptions to the project timeline or quality.

Project Quality:

  • Quality Assurance Protocols: Establish and enforce strict quality assurance protocols to ensure the highest standard of delivery in all Salesforce projects. This includes regular peer reviews, code audits, and performance testing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and feedback mechanisms into project processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects comply with both internal standards and external regulations pertinent to Salesforce implementations. Regularly update the team on any changes in compliance requirements.

Future Technical Trends and AI Integration:

  • AI-Powered Solutions: Stay ahead of industry trends by integrating AI technologies into the Salesforce ecosystem to enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, and personalize customer interactions. Explore and implement Salesforce's AI capabilities, such as Einstein AI, to drive business insights and increase efficiencies.
  • Innovative AI Strategies: Develop innovative strategies that leverage AI to solve complex business challenges, improve customer engagement, and optimize operational processes within Salesforce environments.
  • AI Skills Development: Lead and support the team in upskilling and reskilling initiatives focused on AI and machine learning, ensuring that the practice remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • AI Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader by researching and advocating for the adoption of emerging AI technologies. Share insights through blogs, talks, and workshops, helping to position the company as a leader in AI-driven Salesforce solutions.

Contribution to Asset Accelerators:

  • Development of Reusable Assets: Lead the development and refinement of reusable assets and frameworks to speed up project delivery and reduce costs. This includes creating generic code libraries, pre-configured templates, and best-practice documentation.
  • Innovation in Asset Utilization: Innovate ways to utilize and adapt existing assets to meet the specific needs of new projects, ensuring quick adaptation and customization capabilities.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Promote the use of asset accelerators within the team and across the organization by conducting training sessions, creating detailed usage guides, and showcasing success stories and use cases.
