Job Description

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a hospitality-minded Associate to join our team to work across our most exciting accounts, focusing on motorsports hospitality. This is an amazingly diverse role, and we want someone who will help assist the team on partnership activations, guest engagement programs, maintaining excellent servicing to our clients.

You will report to: Manager or Director

Responsibilities

  • You will apply strategic marketing goals and implement in event execution.
  • Advise clients on event strategies and project plan.
  • You will represent the client and company in negotiating and troubleshooting with properties, venues and suppliers to deliver first-class experiences for guests.
  • Plan and complete site surveys.
  • Prepare and manage line-item budgets.
  • Manage event branding, collateral, on-site materials.
  • Determine food and beverage and other on-site amenities/experiences and oversee ordering and implementation.
  • Conduct onsite management of corporate hospitality events, with a primary focus on sports and entertainment-related events (specifically motorsports).
  • Manage on-site vendors, oversee contractors, and enforce company and client policies during execution.
  • Create client-ready event itineraries, staffing plans, and event recaps.
  • Lead client conference calls and meetings and design and prepare communications and presentations.
  • Manage and communicate project status with manager, internal team and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies to clients and company.
  • Evaluate event outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and provide going-forward strategy recommendations to partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience developing high-level corporate events and hospitality on the brand, agency, or rights holder side
  • Demonstrated prior experience in motorsports hospitality
  • Exceptional client service and interaction skills
  • Budget planning proficiency
  • Comfort in a client-facing role and ability to partner with the client
  • Project management experience
  • Experience building presentations and delivering them
  • Ability to travel frequently, both weekdays and weekends

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $41,600-60,200. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
