Job Description

Along with four amazing colleagues, you will staff teams, optimizing delivery plans meanwhile evaluating the balance between our capacity and the demand for our Agency.  

This role specifically, will zoom in on 110 of our skilled specialists in both Data & Activation and Experience Design. Basically, that means that the better you know their skillsets and typical deliverables, the better you can proactively and efficiently plan new and existing projects.  

Your days are filled with meetings, follow-ups, and a lot of stakeholder management in between team leads, project managers, client directors, external consultants and other Merkle Offices across the globe.

Success is when delivery meets deadlines, capacity matches workload and your solutions benefits both clients and our business.  

Tasks include 

  • Efficient project staffing and people planning  
  • Ongoing evaluation and reporting of your teams' availability, utilisation, and chargeability 
  • Process and update resource requirements in our resource management tools (RessourceGuru, Workbook, Workfront, and Excel) 
  • Facilitate of weekly meeting(s) to adjust next week's planning of your teams 
  • Weekly capacity planning meetings with team leads and craft leads 
  • Weekly meetings with client executives 

You will report to Jesper Nyboe, Executive Operating Officer.

Qualifications

Operations Managers can have various professional backgrounds. You educational background is a Bachelors degrees or more. You have probably worked for 3+ years as a project manager, operations manager, HR administrator or similar. 

We expect you to tick these boxes: 

  • You are structured and love a good check list 
  • You can deal with open tasks and not being able to finish a task on your own 
  • You are service-minded and professional; your colleagues are your clients 
  • You can manage when the scope of a task changes - even if it's last minute 
  • You know when to bring the right people together so decisions can be made 
  • You have experience with repetitive administrative tasks 
  • You are fluent in English.
