Job Description

  • Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes 

  • Supports control and reporting compliance including support in preparing technical accounting memos  

  • Supports the audit process, liaising with external audit on appropriate workstreams  

  • Supports continual improvements in quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes, in collaboration with the wider finance team 

  • Prepares relevant statutory reporting 

  • Through their work, assists in supporting compliance with group policies on financial reporting and internal controls 

  • Supports the team in the daily tasks and implements process controls to ensure Operational Finance deliverables are achieved on an accurate and timely basis 

  • Supports automation initiatives and delivers process related continuous 

  • Works proactively with the business to analyse and build the forecasts, improves data capture and process and helps generate useful insight to share with the business 

  • Identifies and monitors underlying drivers of cost and revenue variances between actual vs. forecast/budget 

  • Collects and analyses financial information to support commercial decision making 

  • Supplies ad hoc financial information and analysis as and when required 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or similar position 

  • Fluent Business English 

  • Advanced PC skills and advanced knowledge of MS Excel  

  • Ability to create Excel macros is a plus. 

  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively 

  • Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job; with initiative and can work independently as well as part of the team 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, 

  • Strong interpersonal skills,  

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
