Job Description
Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes
Supports control and reporting compliance including support in preparing technical accounting memos
Supports the audit process, liaising with external audit on appropriate workstreams
Supports continual improvements in quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes, in collaboration with the wider finance team
Prepares relevant statutory reporting
Through their work, assists in supporting compliance with group policies on financial reporting and internal controls
Supports the team in the daily tasks and implements process controls to ensure Operational Finance deliverables are achieved on an accurate and timely basis
Supports automation initiatives and delivers process related continuous
Works proactively with the business to analyse and build the forecasts, improves data capture and process and helps generate useful insight to share with the business
Identifies and monitors underlying drivers of cost and revenue variances between actual vs. forecast/budget
Collects and analyses financial information to support commercial decision making
Supplies ad hoc financial information and analysis as and when required
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or similar position
Fluent Business English
Advanced PC skills and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to create Excel macros is a plus.
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
Exhibits a positive can-do attitude and approach to responsibilities; meets new challenges and changes with an open mind; demonstrates commitment to the job; with initiative and can work independently as well as part of the team
