Job Description

Role Purpose: The Senior Analyst will report to a Director. The Senior Analyst will assist us in using in-depth knowledge in quantitative database marketing and an understanding of business processes to develop analytics solutions that address business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced analytics tasks, including but not limited to:
  • - Data Analysis and Mining- Campaign performance reporting
  • Audience file development
  • Customer profiling
  • Predictive models
  • Segmentation analysis
  • You will assist us in helping to determine quantitative methods for solving client issues
  • You will assist us in helping present ideas and findings to clients
  • You will assist in evaluation and improvement of current processes
  • You will help create best practices, case studies and training class materials

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL skills required; Teradata experience a plus
  • Very strong Excel skills required
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Discover hidden insights or patterns through advanced data mining techniques on un-structured business problems
  • Ability to complete advanced analytic tasks (including modeling, segmentation) and create meaningful analytical outputs - Ability to identify areas for statistical innovation or process improvement develop approaches or processes/codes to 1) improve client business results, 2) improve efficiencies, 3) reduce potential errors
  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative marketing arena, in database and digital (addressable) marketing, including strong understanding of relational database concepts and direct marketing concepts - Possess core analytical competencies such as ability to formulate an analytical problem; QC data and results; Summarize key findings/insights; Make actionable recommendations; and develop new analytical solutions to solve challenging business problems
  • 2+ years of experience applying statistical techniques such as regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental and design to solve business problems

Other: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in statistics, math, economics or related scientific/quantitative field plus several years' experience in applied disciplines; Advanced degree (M.A., M.S., Ph.D.) preferred

  • Contribute to innovation, process improvement, standardization

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000-$126,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
