This is a remote opportunity, open to anyone within the US.
The SEO Manager is tasked with developing and implementing SEO strategies to meet client goals and deliver strong business results. This role is responsible for executing SEO strategies, ensuring all SEO deliverables are executed on time and of a high quality, and mentors junior team members in their day-to-day SEO activities. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, prioritization, and execution of SEO strategies based on scope and client needs.
- Own client relationships and day-to-day communication.
- Work closely with and mentor junior staff on the completion of SEO deliverables and overall SEO expertise.
- Ensure the highest quality on all client deliverables and that all project deadlines are met.
- Assess client and competitor websites to develop actionable architectural, technical, and content recommendations.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of client websites against established benchmarks and KPIs.
- Lead SEO trainings for internal teams and clients.
- Contribute to internal team and agency initiatives, including process development to increase efficiencies and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of SEO experience, including familiarity with organic performance metrics, latest industry updates, and SEO best practices.
- 1+ years' experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage the project management team to re-prioritize work as needed.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Experience with BrightEdge preferred.
- Experience in SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, STAT, or other comparable tools
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$80,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
