Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Audience Insights & Analytics for one of Dentsu Creative's flagship clients. This person can be remote and will report to the Head of Data and Analytics Strategy. You will help build a strong POV across business dynamics, cultural + societal shifts, audience insights, media trends, creative influences, and tech innovations that inform actionable brand, strategy and creative recommendations.

  • You will lead the Audience Insights & Analytics work for the account, ensuring the delivery of insightful, data-driven strategies that meet client business objectives.
  • You will translate complex data into actionable insights, identifying deep human needs to inform and influence strategic decisions.
  • You will manage and mentor a small team (currently one analyst), fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • You will provide expert recommendations to the Strategy, Creative, Social, and Account teams, ensuring maximum impact and alignment with business needs.
  • You will build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring insights are effectively addressing business challenges.
  • You will spearhead the analytics component, ensuring comprehensive coordination and delivery of analyses and reports on brand metrics, campaign performance, and other client-specific activities, thereby driving informed decision-making and strategic development.
  • You will establish and analyze correlations between strategic/creative initiatives to quantitatively assess their impact on business outcomes, ensuring a data-driven approach to evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of creative strategies.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally to establish a robust learning agenda for audience measurement and analysis.
  • You will represent the voice of insights, driving thought leadership with internal and external clients.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in audience insights, analytics, or a related field, with a preference for agency background.
  • You may have telecom client experience
  • You have a proven track record of using data and insights to drive business decisions and strategies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field: communications, marketing, business, journalism, arts, and sciences (history, anthropology/sociology, psychology), business (economics, marketing), computer (sciences) or quantitative field (math, statistics)
  • Proficiency in audience insights and measurement, with a knack for storytelling through data.
  • Demonstrated experience with a range of research and insights tools, including but not limited to desk research methodologies and third-party platforms (e.g., YouGov, GWI, Telmar), brand measurement tools (BERA, BrandIndex, Kantar Brandz), cultural trends research (Canvas 8, Foresight Factory, Stylus), social listening platforms (Quid, Brandwatch), and qualitative research methods (Suzy, Instapanel), ensuring a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of market and audience insights.

Additional Information

For positions not eligible for incentive or commission plans: The anticipated salary range for this position is ($113,000-$182,850). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
