Merkle is seeking a Visual Designer with a passion for creating intuitive and enjoyable user experiences. In this role, you will design a range of digital deliverables for our client, a national coin collecting website, including email campaigns, landing pages, and paid media deliverables. You will be part of a collaborative team that includes creative directors, copywriters, UX and visual designers, and report to a creative director.
As an important player in strategy development, conceptualization, and design, you will create stunning work for our social, digital, and brand experiences. Collaborating with experience strategists, creatives, developers, data analysts, producers, SEO and media specialists, you will craft creative work that adds customer value and drives business results.
You'll contribute to complex consumer and corporate digital initiatives, helping maintain the project vision from concept to completion. Your excellent Figma skills will be crucial as you handle a variety of digital deliverables from creative brief to delivery. The team dynamics include weekly standup meetings, monthly socials, and lunch and learns for creative connection.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and execute creative concepts together with copywriters directed by the creative director.
- Present big ideas to clients.
- Visualize concepts and interprets them into compelling designs.
- Build creative work and leads by example.
- Ensure the brand tone and position is exemplified within the creative product.
- Execute insightful creative which positively impact a client's business.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure deliverables.
- Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices in digital design.
- Develop and implement design guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate ideas.
- Work with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Qualifications
- At least 2-4 years of experience in digital design
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or interface design
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles for web and mobile applications.
- Portfolio showcasing digital product, paid media, and email design for major brands.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Animation experience is a bonus
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($51,000 - $83,715). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
