Job Description
Role Purpose
- The Senior Delivery Data Engineer is a member of our DataSolutions Delivery team supporting data processing and delivery of Merkle's marketing data products.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data products to internal and external clients using SQL, Snowflake, and other cloud based technologies
- Perform ETL to support the processing and delivery of Merkle's data products
- Build automated processes for recurring client data deliveries using Snowflake Data Cloud Platform
- Document client requirements and solution design, including data layouts and creating processing instructions
- Execute counts and build reports for clients against Merkle's data products
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills applied to first and third-party consumer and B2B data for the purposes of people-based marketing
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data analytics, or related degree required
- 5+ year experience with data engineering, data modeling and/or data processing
- 2+ years' experience with SQL, relational databases, and data warehouses
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience in cloud base technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with code repositories such as Git, Bitbucket, Github, etc
- Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tool
Key Skills
- Strong analytic skills working with B2B, B2C, and Digital data assets for the purposes of customer experience marketing and analytics
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and work efficiently in a fast-pace environment
- Able to manage ambiguity, asking questions to gain clarity and understanding
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience or equivalent with Data Integration / ETL platforms and solutions
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($94,000k-$152,375k). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
