Job Description
The ideal candidate is experienced working and presenting to Directors, VPs, and CMOs within global marketing teams. You can tell a powerful story of how brands grow through social media and customer care, and you can set the stage for execution. You will be responsible for setting the strategic foundation of our clients up for success – developing audits, playbooks and providing strategic guidance for both new and current clients.
Every day is different in this role. While you may be developing a playbook for a new Fortune 100 retail client on Monday, you may be auditing a restaurant’s 2024 social strategy on Wednesday. This position is project based, and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time is essential.
As Director, Strategy your day to day focus will be:
- Lead a team of global strategists to be their best and perform their best, while driving opportunity for growth with our clients
- Play a key role in the on-boarding of new clients to ICUC
- Collaborate on resourcing of existing projects and new hires
- Drive revenue through audit, playbook and consultative development
- Key focus on retention and growth of strategists
- Proactively develop strategic products to drive revenue and retain existing clients
- Work within tools like Brandwatch, proactively identifying trends and emerging topics that are related to current clients – from crisis to brand opportunities – for the purpose of value-add support
- Contributing to the Leadership team to support business planning and execution of company goals
Success Measurement:
- Revenue growth through audit, playbook and consultative development
- Retention of Strategists
- Strategy Client NPS scoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in social strategy and/or insights and analytics
- 5+ years of experience as a people leader
- Deep, expert level proficiency in social analytics and listening tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.
- Proficient computer literacy proven through work experience in software applications, spreadsheet tabulations, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $140,000.00-$150,000.00. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
