Job Description
Sr. Managers will manage programmatic media campaigns for clients within the Merkle portfolio. Sr. Managers support account leadership to ensure team is running smoothly and escalates important performance issues. You will get on-the-job training in industry landscape and technologies, managerial skills, technology partnerships, campaign management, client services, ad trafficking, analysis, and communications. You will report into the Sr. Director, Media Activation and work remotely.
- Oversee activation, campaign management, and reporting for all programmatic channels
- Expectation for Sr. Manager is that they are the lead and primary point person for these efforts, with support from the Sr. specialist or Assoc. Manager
- Hands-on keys interest/experience required. As the team member closest to the campaigns, Sr. Manager will employ data analysis, speak competently to performance and media insights, raising important points to larger group and influencing account strategy
- You will also create custom strategy for planning account leads during periods of planning recommendation cycles
- Main DSPs are The Trade Desk, DV360 and in some cases, Google Ads. Main channels include YouTube, CTV, Display, Native, and Audio
- You will will delegate and project manage in collaboration with planning counterparts and support from assoc. manager and sr. specialist to ensure successful launches and hit important deliverable timelines
- You will evaluate partnership opportunities across the marketplace and serve as important decision maker
- You will be an important client contact on behalf of programmatic team during reporting calls, status calls, vendor meetings
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in the programmatic industry
- Experience leading a team is required, you will have direct reports in this role
- Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills
- Collaboration mindset/team player
- Detail-oriented with attention to project management
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Solutions orientated with strong critical thinking abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
- Expert in programmatic technology, platform, and partner solutions
- Experience working with business applications;

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
