Job Description
The SEO Specialist will have demonstrated ability to execute complicated client projects and deliverables of SEO disciplines across client verticals and service platforms. The SEO Specialist reports into the SEO Director. The ideal candidate will work closely with Account Supervisor on both channel strategy/execution and overall campaign performance and is responsible for leading and managing the execution of SEO campaigns and strategies, the on-time delivery and properly communicated initiatives to help achieve client goals. This position plays an integral role in the development and growth of the SEO channel team and is expected to be able to project expertise to clients, partners, and other external audiences.
- Plan, manage, and execute SEO campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management.
- Proven capability of SEO across the lifecycle of a website and SEO campaigns, from new sites to advanced and mature campaigns.
- Assist Account Supervisor with client communications, SEO knowledge and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to the client.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization along with the ability to deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategies.
- Develop and implement link building strategies.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, pagespeed and other technical factors to improve the ranking of target keywords.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Assistance in creating and implementing content strategies, keeping in mind the SEO goals.
- An up to date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in the SEO industry.
- Monitor web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and mark the key areas of importance according to the client goals.
- Familiarity with the best tools in the trade (Moz, Ahrefs, Semrush)
- Aid in growing product adoption with current clients, including expanding SEO campaigns to include more sites / countries, additional services such as content development, or assisting in upselling SEO to non-SEO clients.
- Serve as trusted consultant, practitioner, and leader.
Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience in SEO in a digital marketing agency.
- Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities and excellent project management skills.
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints along with some knowledge on various Content Management Systems available in the market.
- Efficient skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
