Job Description
Paid Social Managers will work with either a Media Specialist or Senior Specialist from a daily perspective and collaborate with Digital Activation and Planning team member. All Merkle accounts are supported by an Analytics team to facilitate all reporting and forecasting requests. You will report to the Director of Paid Social and can be remote.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the platform strategy and planning, and overseeing activation, performance and reporting of digital media campaigns across all paid social buys
- Be the paid social expert for the client on campaign performance and optimization providing insights into the best tactics to achieve our goals
- Collaborate with the team on audience planning inclusive of using first party data for targeting and insights
- Work with the analytics teams to provide insights to the client when needed. Flag issues or inconsistencies.
- Oversee the work of Specialists, train technical knowledge and manage workflow. Provide strategic guidance. Be a Career Advocate for Specialist and Sr. Specialists, ensuring feedback and career progression conversations
- Oversee the coordination of assets and tags with vendors to ensure campaigns are meeting our goals.
- Recommend paid social strategies and innovations
- Build training materials and best practice documentation, sourcing from broader team where needed, refreshing to ensure best practices applied
- Responsible for daily client relationship inclusive of leading status calls to discuss performance, upcoming projects, important dates, providing strategic recommendation to achieve success for our clients
- Maintain awareness of new marketing platforms and techniques, and look for opportunities to develop new techniques
Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise with social buying platforms (Meta (Facebook/IG) Ads, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter) is required
- 3+ years of experience with ad ops trafficking concepts, as it relates to media activation and main roles & responsibilities
- Deep experience against paid media buying strategies; self-service, managed service, partner negotiations
- Must love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects the bottom line
- Ability to escalate issues to team leads
- Professional client communication, both written and verbal; ability to explain complicated concepts to others
- Must work EST hours

Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($68,000-$91,000). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
