Job Description

The EVP, Client Leadership will play an important strategic role for one (or more) of our most prestigious client relationships. You are socially experienced and understand the nuances of today's digital landscape - and know how to guide breakthrough creative within emerging channels. You will also help identify new growth opportunities both within your existing brands and agency new business efforts. You will report into Dentsu Creative's President. Due to the nature of this role, we do need this leader to reside in the Los Angeles area.

  • You are a client and brand advisor. You express deep understanding of your clients project, with a perspective on and POV on trends to bring innovative thinking and ensure forward-looking work.
  • You as an important point person for all daily client communications across the team, which includes daily updates to the more senior client-agency evaluations.
  • You are a creative collaborator and creative champion, and work with your creative and strategy leadership partners to own driving a culture of creative ambition with both clients and your cross-discipline agency teams.
  • You work with your cross-discipline leadership team, as a team, and deliver famously effective work and thinking to our clients every day.
  • Develop accurate budgets and timelines, manage budget in partnership with Project Management and Finance, support senior Account leadership by reviewing financial performance at the top and bottom line, and forecast against a project pipeline and guide investment decisions toward healthy agency profitability.
  • You lead Client Leadership team members, provide cross-disciplinary leadership by being prepared, proactive, fair, and balanced, and will do what's required by communicating and managing expectations.
  • You lead through the lens of our values and ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion are core to how you lead.

Qualifications

  • Passionate interest in your client's business while you always look for ways to get upstream
  • High creative output standards, expecting the full team to be passionate, and committed to making famously effective work for our clients.
  • 15+ years in a related environment (marketing, agency, product, etc)
  • Experience in social-first accounts. Streaming clients and/or entertainment clients a plus.
  • Experience partnering with clients and strategy team in shaping, leading the prep for, and implementing insights from market-research projects
  • Experience building client relationships that result in excellent work and drive organic growth
  • Experience in account housekeeping (timelines and budget development and management)

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,500-$380,075. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
