Job Description

Our LA based Carat Team is looking to add a Senior Associate, Planning to their team. We are a close knit and collaborative group. We get to support one of the largest travel companies in the world.

This is a hybrid role where you would be in the office 2-3 days per week and working from home the other days. Some client travel will also be required.

The Sr Associate Media Planner is the daily focal point to the account. You would have daily responsibility for assigned accounts and are expected to understand your client's overall business and marketing goals. As a Media Planner reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning you would help steward the tactical communications planning process and provide mid-level recommendations to the senior media team and client.

Communications Planning

  • Aid in the creation of client media communication plan goals
  • Create media plans, flowcharts, activation plan projects, buying guidelines, testing plans & results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and reports
  • Work with outside media partners to report on managed service media plans
  • Contribute to existing and latest communications opportunities relevant to assigned brand/category
  • Write POVs and evaluate new media types / outlets
  • Support Integrated Media Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information
  • Compile reports of competitive market/media information for each brand/category
  • May oversee the work of Assistant Communication Planners, ensuring that all deliverables are error free before they are submitted to Supervisors/clients Client & Internal Relationships
  • Manage daily client interaction, status, and project management
  • Handle expectations of clients and deliverables
  • Assist Supervisor in advising clients on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
  • Assist Supervisor in growing business opportunities within current clients
  • May inform client/team of new opportunities or issues
  • Lead, if appropriate, face-to-face client and vendor meetings
  • Build relationships with internal and external teams and set good example for assistant level

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of communications/media planning experience
  • Knowledge of Prisma or similar tools
  • Experience with Digital Media Activation
  • Ability to relate results to client business objectives
  • Interest in the travel industry

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
