Job Description
THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE. ONLY THOSE LOCAL TO NYC WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Commercial Finance team in delivering timely and accurate information to the business through analysis of business unit performance. The role will utilize financial analysis techniques to provide insight, analysis and trends on critical business issues impacting the day-to-day performance of a business unit for consideration by senior stakeholders.
- Support client revenue from start to finish including pricing models/negotiations, contracts, onboarding coordination, forecasting and revenue recognition
- Support client profitability by managing revenue, resources/costs, ensuring client P&Ls are in line with the staffing agreements and agency goals.
- Work with Client Service and FP&A on various client financial analysis including monthly close variances, pricing scenarios, staffing and time reporting, service channels, Salesforce/pipeline, any reporting required by client
- Partner with various finance teams (Finance Operations, Operational Finance (Genpact & Detroit), Finance Control/Controllership, and FP&A) to ensure accurate revenue, invoicing/billings, accruals, cost of sales & intercompany activity, billable T&E, and PRIPS/bonuses, including adhering to IFRS accounting standards
- Assisting the provision of information to support internal & external audits
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years’ experience in a finance, preferably in Client Finance with working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and perform tasks under tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills including ability to lead meetings/calls, produce actionable emails and work with teams across multiple time zones
- Independent, self-starter with problem solving skills
- Attention of detail
- Financial planning/modeling/analytical reporting skills (Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Responsible for handling highly confidential personnel/salary information
- Collaborative, proactive team player focused continuously improving processes
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $71,875-$120,175. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
