Job Description
TEAM OVERVIEW
The Dentsu International (DI) Media Platforms team manages the strategic direction of the Media Planning, Buying, and Finance systems which support the daily business operations of dentsu Media (e.g., Carat, iProspect, dentsuX). Our primary focus is to manage key suppliers globally to ensure consistent service across markets and to discover ways of optimizing business processes by implementing and/or integrating the right tools to accelerate growth. We collaborate closely with Local market leadership to ensure that platforms are meeting business needs and ensure that systems implementations are effectively accomplished.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In collaboration with Technology and Operations leadership, as the Project Manager, you will ensure the successful end-to-end delivery and integration of dentsu 3rd party Media Platforms solutions. This includes all aspects of the media agency supply chain from research through media planning, activation, finance, and reporting.
This is a highly visible role and works with staff at all levels within the organization and external vendors. You will be passionate about systems and media technology, have robust project management experience, and have experience with media planning, buying, and bill/pay processes and tools from an agency perspective.
You will report directly to the Director, Media Platforms Solutions Delivery, collaborating with other leaders from across our matrixed organizational structure. You will be focused on the US market at the onset with the opportunity to manage regional Americas projects.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure delivery of Media Platforms implementations and integrations across dentsu brands within Americas while working in close partnership with the Media Platforms Support team, internal and external stakeholders
- Provide leadership in identifying, managing, and mitigating change and related risk across teams, processes, and workflows due to implementations and/or integrations of new or revised Media Platforms
- Support the Media Platforms Product team in defining and delivering the optimal Media Platforms Supply Chain Solutions Architecture across Americas
- Conduct current state and target state process mapping of the Media Platforms Supply Chain
- Ensure successful planning and execution of systems integrations between Media Platforms and other in-house or third-party systems (i.e., Finance systems, Reporting solutions, etc.).
- Program management for the implementation and integration of Media Platforms in Americas
- Define project scope and deliverables in support of business goals and work with senior leadership and stakeholders for approvals
- Guide, manage and support the delivery of projects and programs to ensure quality, and on-schedule and on-budget completion
- Manage all aspects of projects including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress against plans
- Build and maintain working relationships with team members, consultants/vendors, and other departments involved in multiple projects
- Identify and proactively resolve issues/conflicts within the project team
- Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner
- Prepare project status reports for upper management review
- Develop project plans, schedule and work breakdown structure for projects
- Work with stakeholders to ensure project staffing and resource planning
Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- 3-5 years of Project and Program Management, including leadership and related management of resources, budgets, goals, stakeholders, communications, suppliers, deliverables, benefits, governance and risks.
- Knowledgeable of software development methodologies and frameworks (SDLC).
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary, multi-track, matrixed-managed enterprise projects and programs.
- Experience managing programs and multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity and experience with current project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools .
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Media/Advertising industry and software experience strongly preferred.
- An experienced leader working within high performance teams.
- Ability to understand business strategy and then lead stakeholders and working groups to implement programs that deliver to strategy.
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
