Job Description

The purpose of this role is to establish and operate the Salesforce growth team, defining the Alliance growth strategy for our Salesforce partner. Establish and strengthen relationships with client C-Level executives, business and technical buyers, and key project stakeholders vital to the success of an opportunity. Network with industry leaders, alliance partners, industry vendors and competitors, and participate in industry forums. Manage a team of Alliance Sales Leads to generate demand and deliver on annual target.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Global Salesforce Partner Lead to develop the annual business plan for the Merkle / Salesforce Alliance.
  • Manages the Salesforce alliance to higher levels of maturity across the Merkle Alliance Partner framework: Sales, Marketing, and Joint Initiatives.
  • Manages the Salesforce Alliance team to meet team revenue objectives and balanced scorecard goals.
  • Manages lead flow and coordinates closely with Merkle sales, Salesforce sales, and Client Partners.
  • Cross-functionally lead various internal teams in identifying, developing and closing new business. Works with / through internal teams to develop alliance partner offerings and go-to-market strategy.
  • Manages the Salesforce Power Map and advance Merkle’s thesis into the Salesforce executive team.
  • Manages CXO level relationships with strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.​
  • Positions Merkle as a leader in the Salesforce partner ecosystem with access to senior Salesforce Sales Leadership.
  • Achieves alliance metric targets across pipeline, sales (TCV, ACV), win rate, and in-year revenue.
  • Manages and operates within assigned budget.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years consultative or alliance sales experience.
  • Experience in Merkle and/or related services firms.
  • Domain knowledge in marketing technology and ad technology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital agency marketplace.
  • Significant business relationships with senior client executives.
  • Experienced in executing partner go-to-market programs, messaging and delivery for Global audiences including a track record of exceeding revenue quota and new customer adoption goals.
  • Develop strong internal relationships within their respective Growth, Vertical, and Business Units across Merkle.

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,500-$380,075. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
