Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manager for the Business Transformation Consulting Team at Dentsu’s Manager/Principal career level. The role reports to the DACH Head of Business Transformation Consulting and will work closely with colleagues from aligned business functions including Business Intelligence, HR and Finance.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Change Management, which is a critical aspect of any business transformation project. The candidate should have a strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices, and be able to develop and implement change management plans that facilitate the adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies. The candidate should also have experience in engaging with stakeholders, communicating changes effectively, and addressing resistance to change. At least 3 years of experience in Change Management is preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being an excellent Project Manager with a mindset that is critical on Status quo, proactive on solution definition and meticulous on results. 
  • Overlooking all Change Initiatives in DACH 
  • Leads the business change activity and works and work with the programme/ project to support delivery of the Business Case benefits and outcomes, through use of change management best practice and the provision of change management-based expert advice for programme/ project team members and the project community.  
  • Responsible for the creation of the required Change Management deliverables in accordance with the dentsu Change Management framework. Works to ensure that these deliverables are fit for purpose and are used appropriately within the programme / project. These include, but are not limited to: Change Impact Assessments, Change Interventions Plans, Change Communications, Communications Plans (where appropriate), Training Needs Analysis, Success Metrics Tracking.   
  • Valued sparring partner for inhouse client, Business Units and other stakeholders on a senior level. 
  • Works with the programme/ project to identify required stakeholder engagement and communications (including key leadership roles), develops and maintains engagement plans and related content. Drives pertinent engagement activity as per agreed plan.  
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. 
  • Create needed stories to get decisions from senior stakeholders, lead escalations and come up with mitigation approaches.  

Qualifications

General 

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a field such as business, communication or related. 
  • +5 years of experience in orchestrating Project and Change Management. 
  • Several years of experience managing projects of increasing complexity and size. Also certifications in project management such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 are a plus.

Project Management 

  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. They should also have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques and be able to apply them to achieve project objectives. 
  • The ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients is critical to the success of the Project Manager role. You should be able to convey complex information clearly and concisely, listen actively to feedback, and adapt your communication style to different audiences. 
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously is essential for a Project Manager. You should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage timelines, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • As a Project Manager, you will encounter challenges and obstacles. You should be able to identify and analyze problems, develop creative solutions, and make sound decisions quickly. 

Change Management

  • Strong and relevant track record of operating within large, complex global organisations, with proven recent experience of managing a change across a portfolio of complex transformation programmes at process optimisation and operational excellence.
  • Evidence of deep experience in conducting and delivering change activities including: change impact assessments, change readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, training planning and training material. creation/delivery, adoption and benefit realisation approach and tracking
  • Expertise leading a range of different change types (e.g. technology, process, behavioural and cultural-based change).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts, risks and strategies to senior management in business terms, while being able to discuss detailed technical aspects with experts in the dentsu business.
