Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to develop reporting, analytics, and insights for multiple key agency clients.

Your focus will be in the development of insights and reporting products, including reports, dashboards, and frameworks, for web-based and IRL user experiences.

Your contribution will enable a better understanding of our client’s business, and power our strategy, messaging, content creation, and optimization. You will help drive our clients' business goals by developing insights and recommendations based on performance.

Key Accountabilities

Data Analytics and Modeling

· Identifies, extracts, aggregates, and synthesizes data in a variety of structured and unstructured formats using appropriate languages (SQL/Python/R etc.) to run analyses and build reports.

· Serve as a statistics expert across a range of R&D disciplines to define and execute analytics and modeling approaches.

· Take ownership of the quality and defensibility of statistical analyses, models, and interpretation.

· Collect and analyze web data using various tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other relevant analytics platforms.

· Identify trends and patterns in data to uncover insights that can inform marketing strategies and campaign optimizations.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurable goals for program performance.

· Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate the impact of different marketing initiatives on website performance and user experience.

· Identify opportunities for website optimization and provide recommendations to improve user experience and increase performance.

· Identify and troubleshoot tracking issues or discrepancies in analytics data to ensure reliable and consistent reporting.

Data Storytelling and Visualization

· Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate analytics findings to stakeholders, including marketing managers and executives.

· Develop and maintain data visualization tools or dashboards to provide real-time insights and enhance data accessibility for the marketing team.

· Bring outstanding analytical storytelling and thinking to engagements with both agency clients and internal teams

Team Collaboration

· Act as a liaison with strategists to interpret learnings and action items stemming from performance data.

· Collaborate with web developers and IT teams to ensure accurate implementation and tracking of web analytics tools and tags.

· Collaborate with client's internal analytics team, interface with the rest of Analytics Department team, and the overall Dentsu Creative analytics organization.

Qualifications

· 3+ years prior experience in data analytics. Agency experience preferred.

· Bachelor’s Degree in computer (sciences) or quantitative field (math, statistics), business (economics, marketing), communications, marketing, business, journalism, arts, and sciences (history, anthropology/sociology, psychology).

· Experience programming in SQL and Python or R for the purposes of developing advanced analytical solutions, visualizations, reports, and presentations

· Experience with statistical analysis such as generalized linear models, regression models, multivariate analysis etc.

· Experience using measurement to drive business decisions

· Experience managing analytics platforms and tools.

· Proficient in Google Analytics. Knowledge about Adobe Analytics is a plus.

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Salary is based on a range of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
