Job Description

ROLE: You will manage the team who is the face and voice of that brand, for consumers and retail partners alike. Your team is comprised of culture influencers who communicate product features in a way that creates excitement and drives sales. Your role is to ensure they are inspired, informed and effective in their schedules while meeting the client’s expectations. You are responsible for tracking and meeting all pre-defined KPIs/objectives and overall compliance of the program. Build strong relationships with your MTKG peers, Beats client and retail partners. Foster a strong team culture and passion for the PULSE program. Engage retailer mind share through store level training, brand advocacy, management/team influence and merchandising activity

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build culture: influence & brand advocacy

  • Represent the brand and MKTG with the highest level of professionalism, expertise and enthusiasm.
  • Serve as the face of PULSE to the client in your region with focus on building and maintaining a strong collaborative and trusting relationship.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all program staff in region, with direct reports of Market Development Managers (MDMs).
  • Foster a focused and dedicated team dynamic that celebrates the contributions and creativity of the individual team members.
  • Serve as a proactive mentor to the MDM team in your region.
  • Support & collaborate with your MDMs as they work with GMs to plan instore support, promotional events and general relationship building.
  • Travel to each market in region to conduct site check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Review, edit and submit all proposed staff and event schedules monthly and quarterly.
  • Participate in regional management and product training sessions.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability while managing shifting priorities, show ability to work under pressure.
  • Build relationships with and in of support of designated retail partners at the regional level.
  • Seek retailer feedback and support their training goals.

Contribute to and build team

  • Recruit, interview and hire staff members in your region.
  • Guide MDMs on best practices in leadership, staff management, team development & performance and retention.
  • Serve as point of escalation for any issues that arise in region.
  • Meet staff attrition goals through best practices in recruitment and talent development.
  • Ensure all staff members are properly trained on product features and benefits
  • Lead by example and demonstrated success in meeting & KPIs.
  • Monitor in-store performance results of all PULSE team members in your region.
  • Share both positive/constructive feedback and observations on team focuses & overall growth.
  • Offer solutions to program ‘growing pains’.
  • Attend regional training events to stay up-to-date on full product line knowledge.

Process

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate at a high level both oral and written.
  • Meet pre-defined sales and marketing goals.
  • Strategically define and manage all team schedules on a quarterly and monthly basis to meet goals.
  • Participate in store visits with MDMs & ASRs based on pre-defined schedules and compliance goals.
  • Be able to communicate the brand’s sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of in-store promotional and special events.
  • Support the MDM’s as they manage a staff of ASRs to execute in-store promotional events, train store associates and build brand awareness through maintaining an enthusiastic, skilled and productive team that meets its goals.
  • Manage travel and meet budget goals for your region.

Reporting and business intelligence

  • Collect, report and analyze customer feedback, competitive information and sales/marketing data.
  • Collect and report sales/marketing data (business intelligence) and measurable data.
  • Ensure all team members complete all reporting in timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain real-time status on all major KPIs for program.
  • Provide retailer feedback and qualitative and quantitative data through timely, accurate updates and reports to Regional Leads.
  • Exhibit understanding of retail business metrics and decision processes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years account management experience 

  • 1+ years retail experience

  • Strong attention to detail and quality 

  • Ability to solve problems creatively 

  • Effectively writes clear, concise logical internal and client documents 

  • An understanding of the social and digital development and production processes 

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375 / year.

Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
