Job Description

Isobar Public Sector a dentsu digital agency is looking for an experienced Accounting and FP&A  Manager who will report directly to the CFO and advise executive leadership on critical financial decisions. They will be a pivotal part of the Finance team and will have the opportunity to support and grow professionally as the company scales. The role will collaborate with business partners to drive strategic projects and long-range planning, forecast operating costs, and support financial review meetings and other ad hoc projects.

The ideal candidate is someone who can balance developing a deep knowledge of the business’ key drivers and can operate at a higher altitude while communicating the story of our financial results and outlook. This role suits candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, solid report-writing abilities, an aptitude for analyzing and visualizing data, and excellent business acumen.

Accounting Function:

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Manage office bank accounts and activities.
  • Assist with annual audit.
  • Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, cash receipts and financial assets.
  • Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial accounting data.
  • Create financial reports based on data analysis.

FP&A function:

  • Develop and manage the company's forecasts and annual budget.
  • Analyze and report on financial performance, prepare trends and variance analysis.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial metrics to measure business performance.
  • Assist with reporting packet for management discussions and BOD meetings.
  • Ad hoc project and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in general accounting.
  • Experience in an agency or consultancy environment desired.
  • Financial planning and analysis experience desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Robust analytical, quantitative, and modeling skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices (GAAP & IFRS).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Technical skills preferred: Unanet, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, Blackline, Microsoft Office.
  • Prior Government Accounting experience a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus.
