Job Description

Dentsu is creating service line (SL) dedicated SWAT teams consisting of business, functional, and technology leads who will be responsible for driving strategic transformation initiatives. Each SWAT team member will hard line report into their respective function, and dotted line into the SWAT team lead, who reports into the Americas COO. The teams will be responsible for capturing SL requirements, developing fit-for-purpose solutions, and building implementation plans aligned to strategic priorities. To be successful, they will need to leverage and build upon SL-specific experience, as well as navigate effectively within the dentsu global organization. The teams will be expected to partner with SL subject matter experts, global process owners, and functional/technology leaders to ensure maximum connectivity and effectiveness across the enterprise.   

Your Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager, Change Communications, you will be the change communications specialist for the SL SWAT team. You will hard line report into the SVP, Regional Communications & Marketing Lead, Americas, and matrix into the CXM SWAT team lead. 

  • Develop and deliver strategic and tactical change management strategies 
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments, identifying key stakeholders and areas of focus, and develop stakeholder engagement and communication plans to address and mitigate risks  
  • Understand the short/mid/long term transformation roadmaps for the company, region and service lines, and proactively identify and clearly articulate upcoming change priorities to support these roadmaps 
  • Create content that produces employee engagement and increases knowledge of major strategic and transformation programs and initiatives, and the impact of approach and strategy on business and organizational outcomes  
  • Review, write and distribute targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, technology and success stories, people-related communications, organization announcements, as well as other timely business messages 
  • Identify, baseline and track change management KPIs and metrics   
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate change activities 
  • Support the regional communications team as necessary 
  • Promote change management best practices and continually seek to improve the SWAT teams’ ways of working 
  • Source, develop and deliver compelling communications consistent with objectives related to the One Dentsu vision, values and objectives, as well as client specific goals and programs 
  • Escalate issues that need additional attention from leadership and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building and executive communications 
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree 
  • Proven track record in setting up and running large-scale change programs. 
  • Experience leading through influence, building long-term relationships and partnerships 
  • Experience of managing senior stakeholder relationships at CxO, Partner, Functional Head levels 
  • Awareness and experience of leveraging technology as enablers. 
  • Strong presentation and client facing skills.  
  • Excellent communication skills as it relates to workflow steps and internal processes.  
  • Strong organizational, and follow-up skills.  
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.  
  • Accountability and flexibility with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to tactfully communicate position on relevant issues.  
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management/risk mitigation skills.  
  • Ability to craft scopes, deliverables and to be able to show value as it relates to the enterprise. 

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
