Job Description
"Remote Opportunity"
We are looking for a Digital Media Manager to partner with our diverse clients to manage the Google Marketing Platform activation strategy, client growth and retention. This will require you to take a consultative approach and advise the client on current media trends, how to achieve media goals, review of best practices regarding technology, be a steward of first-party data strategy, and work with Merkle Cardinal Path teams. Qualified candidates are process and detail-oriented, have a technical understanding of the Google Marketing Platform tools, and have experience managing digital campaigns. This role is an opportunity for a driven, passionate, and innovative consultant to shape Merkle | Cardinal Path’s service offering and approach to Digital Media and client growth strategy. We are obsessed with leveraging data, analytics, and our knowledge of technology to create highly effective and efficient media activation strategies.
Responsibilities:
Ad Tech Architecture SME to advise on the following:
- Integrations and account Set-up (with a focus on GMP platforms - SA/CM/DV are the priorities, and knowledge of how these work with GA is important)
- Technical ad ops - Floodlights, attribution bidding, platform setup for customized reporting structures (i.e. labeling, grouping, etc.)
GMP Martech stack expertise to advise on the following:
- Sales conversations with net-new and organic leads to outline the benefits of the GMP Adtech for audiences of nascent to advanced knowledge/experience
- Troubleshooting and advising on advanced use cases with GMP Adtech for our immediate team for support engagements
- Activation and consulting on Value Based Bidding and Bid to Value projects in conjunction with our Data Science team
Thought leadership/advanced consulting to work with the Digital Transformation (DT) team
- MarTech stack perspective on Digital Transformation as it relates to
- Future planning for a Cookieless Future and/or first party strategy
- Data ownership
- Identify next and advanced GMP features available for the client and develop roadmap-style recommendations for advancing the current-state architecture
- Durable data strategies, customer match, modeled conversions, data signals (I always forget the name of this one), PMAX, PAIR ideation, Ads-hub, etc.
- Activation architecture and data flows
- Ability to develop current to future state platform configuration and GMP stack integration plan
- Media Activation opportunities especially with GA4
- Additional go to market strategy/products that can leverage the Digital Transformation, analysis and insights team and Data Science teams
Qualifications
Relevant Experience
- Develop digital media activation plan which includes, targeting, creative, and analytics strategies for Display, Video, Social, and Search campaigns
- Responsible for media client onboarding, creation of digital media strategies, translation of that strategy into a results-based plan, campaign briefs, and providing ongoing updates to the client
Qualifications
- You have 7-10 years of digital media experience, including implementing, managing, and optimizing campaigns
- Hands-on DV360 and if not DV360 at least programmatic experience in another platform (The Trade Desk, Stack Adapt, Amazon Marketing Cloud). DV360 experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Google Marketing Platform for media activation (DV360, CM360, SA360) and enterprise analytics platform (GA360, Adobe Analytics)
- Product certifications are preferred (We will help you obtain the required certificates if you don’t have them)
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams/clients to align on client media strategy and translate into the technical media execution.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
- Agency or client-side experience running digital media campaigns is preferred.
- A degree in marketing, communications, technology, computer science, analytics, or related fields is preferred
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $113,000 - $174,500. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
