Job Description

dentsu health, part of dentsu international (dentsu) is seeking an Manager, Paid Search to join the growing dentsu health practice. As an integral member of the dentsu health search team, the candidate will be the day to day manager, tactical, and strategic lead on all assigned paid search accounts. You will work closely with media, data analytics, and other account management teams to ensure client goals/KPIs and expectations are met and/or exceeded.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for achievement of KPIs and deadlines across client paid search accounts
  • Ensure best practice and innovation in all paid search activities; ensure knowledge sharing across teams
  • Perform keyword research and write ad copy for new and existing campaigns
  • Ultimate accountability for pacing and managing account budgets
  • Implement successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management using a bid management tool such as Google Search Ads 360
  • Perform regular competitive research analysis for all campaigns
  • Stay on top of new tools, ad formats, trends and best practices in search
  • Create, format and update Med/Legal/Regulatory submission documents
  • Provide strategic and tactical recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data in partnership with the search senior manager
  • Lead client reporting for assigned tactics in coordination with the analytics team
  • Present and/or lead internal and client status calls and meetings
  • Work collaboratively with the media team for annual and monthly budget reconciliation
  • Accountable for the delivery of all projects to agreed deadlines
  • Main point of contact for Search Engine and third party reps
  • Liaise with other channels (media, programmatic, social & SEO)

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Paid Search, specifically in a digital agency
  • Experience in working with pharma/life sciences clients and/or highly regulated industry a plus
  • DTC & HCP paid search experience preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of Paid Search, market development and trends
  • Manage the planning, budgeting, and strategic development of SEM campaigns and account structure to increase paid media traffic
  • Experience building SEM submissions off of client websites including KW lists and ad copy development
  • Complete mastery of Search Engines and third party tools (Google Ads, Bing Ad Center & SA360)
  • Experience working with media analytics and budgets
  • Well-honed communication and client presentation skills 
  • Ability to think strategically, make innovative recommendations that drive client goals
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Strong project and resource management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$100,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
