Job Description

Our Carat team based in Southfield, MI is looking to add a Sr Manager, Media Planning Operations (known internally as Sr Manager, Operations) person to their team. This person will support the planning team from initial planning phase all the way through reconciliation. This role is 100% remote; must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone Business Hours. 

The Senior Manager, Business Operations will focus on report generation, media planning and media buying system support tasks (i.e. buy code management, user security, data table management, etc.)

They are expected to have a functional working knowledge of the media space (all channels including digital media) including standard planning and billing tools like Lumina, Prisma and DDS/MediaOcean.

The Senior Manager, Operations will ensure all deliverables are completed according to plan and agreed timelines. They will support and implement the visions of account leadership to ensure the account is operating in the most efficient and profitable manner.

  • Support Associate Director, Operations in implementation of best practices for the account
  • Manage administration, training, and guidance for multiple operating tools (Lumina, DDS, automation tools, etc.)
  • Ensure team adherence to the account operating manual regarding client deliverables and requirements
  • Support defined strategies for sustained operational excellence across the account by providing leadership and expertise
  • Participate in cross discipline status meetings
  • Manage multiple deliverables and evaluate new/alternative solutions
  • Ensure key data sets are kept accurate and up to date
  • Provide guidance to and build lasting relationships with teams, both internal and external
  • Help develop media presentations and tactical POVs
  • Effectively communicate key information to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, etc.
  • Manage changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years media planning/buying experience with an understanding of media process from start to end (plan, buying, billing and reconciliation)
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience driving process improvement and increasing efficiencies.
  • Understanding and excellent usage of differing communication styles

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $92,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
