Job Description

Carat is looking for a Director of Paid Social to lead paid social efforts for one of our largest tech clients. Reporting to the Group Director of Social, you will lead a team while providing strategic planning and direction on all campaigns. This is a role ideal for someone with the pedigree to manage a team and lead a client relationship, but the desire to stay immersed in the latest social trends and best practices.

You Will:

  • Develop paid social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, among others.
  • Develop relationships with important partners at all relevant social media platform partners
  • Explain the details and rationalize recommendations to our client
  • Work with the client services team to manage client relationship as related to paid social strategy, team and performance.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports
  • Establish new projects, grow client revenue
  • Collaborate with other channel teams to ensure consistency across campaigns
  • Contribute to new business development

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in paid social media
  • Experience buying or working within Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and TikTok platforms
  • Knowledge of paid social best practices, advancements and industry trends
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
  • Advanced project management skills for managing client expectations
  • Strategic planning experience for revenue and team growth
