Budget Analyst

Job Description

Budget Analysts are responsible for tracking Media spending by month for their assigned GM Divisions or Regions.  The Budget Analyst updates the Forecast and other Financial Reports required by GM on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Budget Managers/Planners to adjust and reconcile budget numbers throughout the month/year.
  • Attend weekly status meetings to stay informed of up-coming changes or additions to the budgets.
  • Handle intermittent budget related requests from clients.
  • Review Mediaocean (DDS) commits against Planners MPF to insure accuracy.
  • Create yearly budget level documents to send to clients on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting package to be sent to client.
  • Monitor EA’s and Invoices through GM’s eSAP system.
  • Work with Budget Managers/Planning and Clients to resolve GM eSAP EA & invoice rejections.
  • Field calls/questions from Budget Managers/Planning and Clients regarding all budget-related issues.
  • Obtain signatures and documents as needed for audit compliance.
  • Track PO balances for each EA.

Qualifications

1.       Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experiences

2.       Exceptional attention to details.

3.       Strong organization, communication, problem solving, and Excel skills

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
