Job Description

We’re looking for a Internal Communications Manager, Product & Solutions who will report to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications and will work in partnership with the Solutions Team. This role will support the development and distribution of corporate messaging, content creation and storytelling as part of dentsu’s mission, purpose, and strategy. The Internal Communications Manager, Product & Solutions will be responsible for developing creative ways to engage, inform and empower employees and client facing teams.

This role has a heavy writing focus and, as such, candidates must possess the ability to write under pressure for a variety of different stakeholders; translate corporate strategic messaging and complex initiatives into simple language; adjust tone and style to fit varying communication needs and/or audiences; and provide superior editing and proofreading support. The role includes developing both short and long-form content (articles, memes, infographics, videos, etc.). The person in this role will also contribute to driving employee awareness and engagement by creating compelling content for key company-wide channels (Teams, SharePoint, Email, etc.).The individual will lead, execute and manage written communications start to finish under the direction of Senior Manager of Internal Communications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain communications campaigns and strategies that will help further organizational goals
  • Drive the communications strategy and narratives for dentsu’s suite of product and solutions, including overseeing projects, programs and new innovations that help support client facing teams, to enhance our offerings, and empower the employees on these products
  • Bring product and solution launches to life
  • Be a strategic advisor to our solutions leaders while identifying new spokespeople and their roles in supporting our product and solutions narratives
  • Define key performance indicators for each communications channel which will indicate a campaign's level of success
  • Help establish and maintain best practices, policies, procedures, and tools to improve team organization and effectiveness, e.g., editorial calendar, templates, comms best practices, etc.
  • Regularly contribute to and help manage content distribution across key channels, e.g., the company intranet, newsletters, Teams, email, etc.
  • Work with different teams from inception/design of new programs through launch, providing a client-focused lens on all communications
  • Oversee the creation of communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand
  • Advise senior leadership and executives on communications campaigns and strategies
  • Develop, edit, and execute effective internal communications on a timely basis for all product & solution communications

 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to our team:

  • You have proven experience developing strategic communications programs with a client-first mindset
  • You have excellent people skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a similar focus
  • 5+ years of related work experience in internal communications, in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the communications needs of a large, matrixed enterprise
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Skilled at collaborating effectively across different levels of an organization, including C-level executives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including editing and proofreading abilities
  • Strong relationship building abilities to build consensus across levels and teams
  • Results-driven mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management skills
  • Growth mindset, self-starter with desire to learn and contribute to driving change and results
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, PowerPoint, InDesign and all Microsoft applications

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($68,000 - 110,400). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
