Job Description
dentsu is looking for a Structured Data & Feeds Manager to support retail clients in the managing of their product catalog and associated data feeds within eCommerce advertising. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Structured Data & Feeds, the Manager will work closely with the media channel teams to drive feed-based initiatives, ensure the accuracy, relevance, and health of data feeds in relation to consumer behavior, by providing proactive strategy, optimizations, and recommendations, in addition to regular QA & data review. This role requires daily collaboration with the respective media teams using the feed to improve performance and support ad-hoc requests. The Manager will need to demonstrate an expert level understanding of feed-powered media, the role it plays in optimizing media campaigns, and client’s needs surrounding their data, while acting as a leader, knowledge resource, and trainee to the Structured Data & Feeds team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage internal feed management platform and tools to QA & ensure the proper generation, delivery, and setup of your client’s data feeds
- Drive feed strategy & optimization across relevant media channels as well as feed health improvements through the lens of understanding how a consumer will interact with the data powered through the feed
- Harness the capabilities of our technology and resources to implement feed optimizations and adjustments in an efficient and accurate manner
- Act as the main point of contact for both the client and respective media teams who leverage the feed
- Proactively bring strategy and optimization recommendations to the client and internal teams that align with business goals, priorities, and upcoming changes in the industry
- Contribute to and lead presentations around feed strategy, feed based QBR content, and other external presentations
- Collaborate with relevant media channel teams to implement and test feed optimizations to product data (product titles, descriptions, categories, images, etc.) in line with client objectives and media channel strategy
- Act as a leader within the Structured Data & Feeds group by maintaining and sharing an expert level of knowledge on changes in the industry, best practices to implement, and effective communication
- Drive internal leadership through the generation of case studies, proactive campaign support, external thought leadership contribution, knowledge of feed-adjacent industry updates
- Understand & support the setup, connection, and capabilities of vendors/partners (primarily: Google Merchant Center & Facebook Commerce Manager) feed UIs and management platforms
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience working in digital marketing, eCommerce, retail search, paid search, PPC, Shopping, paid social, programmatic, or related field or 1+ years managing data feeds or managing product data within digital advertising with a proven knowledge of the subject matter
- Microsoft Excel certification
- Experience with Feed-powered advertising partners & respective platforms, Google Shopping (Google Merchant Center), Facebook (Facebook Commerce Manager), Amazon (Vendor/Seller Central), etc.
- Experience managing against KPIs in digital marketing
- Proven track record of self-motivation, organization, and independently driven campaign management success
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, share learnings with peers, and a role model within past teams
- Certifications in Google Shopping, Google Ads, Google Analytics preferred
- Microsoft PowerPoint certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of media channel execution & strategy across Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, Retail Media, Programmatic, or eCommerce
- Proven analytical mindset, with the ability to identify data trends and insights through data analysis across large data sets
- Enthusiasm for leveraging technology in digital marketing and identifying solutions to client challenges through innovation and the use of technology
- Enjoy learning new platforms, skills, and media channel programs, while reviewing and analyzing large data centered around client’s merchandising efforts, product, inventory, and pricing data, while providing data analysis and reviewing large data sets

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
