Job Description

We're seeking a talented Senior Art Director to join our creative team with our automotive client. You will work on 360 creative campaigns for a new Sustainable Energy division, directing creative that ranges from branding and creating TV spots to huge social first activations. A deep understanding of social and how those activations might come to life is essential for this role. If you have a Copywriter partner you love to work with, we'd love to meet them too. 

We serve our clients from offices around the world. Passionate about building brands in diverse categories, we handle accounts of all sizes, from local to global, crossing all communication channels. We're currently hiring for a Senior Art Director. This high conceptual thinker is responsible for generating, co-managing and co-directing the look, tone and feel of all on-strategy creative ideas across multiple mediums. 

  • Develop superior creative solutions that will successfully live across all forms of media 
  • Confidently contribute new ideas and fresh solutions to the development of all creative concepts 
  • Collaborating seamlessly with Senior Copywriter, lead projects of any size/scope/style through to completion 
  • Manage the day-to-day progress of a project from start to finish 
  • Understand and find excitement in diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends 
  • Rally junior associates to meet project goals on time, on budget and with an unforgiving eye on quality 
  • Be self-motivated, hardworking, well organized, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables  
  • Lead and own work, and formulate and develop disruptive ideas with minimal oversight or creative direction
  • Establish client relationships, owning presentations and working directly with clients on productions
  • Art Direct all different forms of media, including manifestos, scripts, digital and content
  • Understand and appreciate the importance of strategy, and ensure that all ideas are on brief
  • Manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously 
  • Handle all facets of production and post-production with minimal supervision
  • Work with all disciplines to deliver projects of creative excellence on time
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills, both internally and with clients
  • Give and receive constructive feedback in a respectful manner
  • Show maturity in dealing with the ups and downs of the business, and finds creative opportunities on even the most challenging of clients
  • Mentor and lead creative teams

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building ideas and executions 
  • 3+ Years Agency Experience
  • Strong and thorough understanding of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator 
  • Multi-faceted in developing different types of creative media

  • Production experience and ability to handle different types of productions

  • Expert storytelling skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Collaborative and team oriented with proficiency working with members of all different departments, with minimal supervision

  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills for effective communication to clients, internal team and management 

  • Keen attention to detail 

  • Professional, outgoing, friendly, fearless, and resilient 

 

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000-$115,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
