Dentsu Creative is looking for passionate, enthusiastic talent to work on our newest client: an entertainment industry staple. We’ve been tasked with overhauling their social presence and our mission will be to build on their existing community, stoke fandom, and attract new audiences. We’re looking for talent across disciplines to help build this machine and execute with precision on a daily basis. Excitement about and knowledge of the entertainment industry is a must for all candidates and a deep love of the social space is key. We’re looking for team members who are passionate about film, sports, and TV and are eager to apply their passion to best-in-class creative work. It’s also critical that teammates are versed in understanding the always-changing social landscape and are equipped to quickly and nimbly activate against new platforms, trends, and behaviors. Successful candidates are self-starters, collaborative, and genuinely excited about pop culture and entertainment.  

 

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for all aspects of content, which includes development, design, production, presentation, evaluation and analysis. 

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Champions, defines and provides feedback on the content process and output, including quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality and collaboration 
  • Maintains communication with senior art personnel and project managers concerning status of jobs 
  • Detects any vital disconnects and works with senior creative personnel to mitigate them as the piece develops. 
  • Responsible for making sure projects adhere to timeline and flags any disruptions to seniors in a timely fashion

Qualifications

Our team is searching for a social-first video editor who is passionate about film, sports, pop culture, and art. This person must have a digital portfolio with social-first videos (primarily for IG + TikTok). 

  • 3-6+ years of experience 
  • Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)  
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Premiere to edit videos.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects preferred 
  • Audio Editing and Color Correction experience a must! 
  • Include a link to your portfolio or social handles **candidates without this may not be considered. 
  • Looking for portfolio samples with video reels formatted for social platforms. 
  • Staying current on as many social trends and techniques as possible, and where to appropriately use them.
