Job Description

As a Technology Consultant in the Merkle Technology Consulting team your role is to help our clients identify and prioritize opportunities for improving their customer experience using the optimal technology and data for their situation and needs.

You will identify gaps and opportunities through business analysis, uncover client needs and requirements to reach their CX vision. And leverage these insights to analyse and assess possible technologies and vendors, to guide our clients in selection processes and developing technology roadmaps.

As part of our client engagements, you will act as our enterprise architect leading the technical discovery of the systems landscape to identify high-level technology components and integration processes to be implemented, as well as setting the principles and patterns to guide the implementation in collaboration with the clients IT organization and our specialist solutions architects.

Your work will be both scoping and delivering technology strategies for our clients, while collaborating with our Client Service and Growth teams to sell solutions and services across our technical practices (Data, Martech, Commerce and Content Solutions). In this pre-sales context, your role will be showcasing how specific technologies would enable the business to drive a more personal customer journey across the full customer experience

In delivering projects you will typically be working alongside other consultants with expertise in business design, service design, experience design and digital technologies, as well as digital specialists and solution architects from our Data, Commerce, Content Solution and Martech practices.
