Dentsu X US, part of the media service line at Dentsu is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Client Finance Team. The role can be fully remote working New York (EST) hours.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing commercial objectives across the agency’s portfolio and supporting the Finance Director across departmental financial deliverables. This role will maintain key client relationships and ensure that all relevant financial expectations are communicated, tracked, monitored, and managed. The Senior Analyst partners closely with Account Management, Operations and Media Activation teams to foster/grow client relationships, ensure contractual requirements are being met and achieve internal business targets. 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Revenue & cost forecasting and recognition including variance analysis
• Complete monthly close process including journal entry submission, contract compliance review and GL maintenance
• Pricing and staff plan optimization
• Set margin and profitability targets and analyze performance
• Invoicing and reconciliation
• Working capital management – WIP/AR/Media Liability reporting
• Contract review in partnership with Legal department
• Oversee intercompany agreements and manage cross charge
• This position is responsible for handling highly confidential information, requiring an ability to maintain and display high ethical standards including confidentiality, discretion, and exemplary judgment with respect to such information.

• Media/Advertising experience preferred but not required
• 2-4 years experience in a finance or accounting role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and know how to play, translate large data sets
• Ability to work to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure monthly deadlines are met effectively and efficiently
• Superior organization abilities, strong attention of detail, and advanced project management/customer service skills
• Initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
