Job Description

Total Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Must Have Skills : 

  1. Ability to understand Requirements and translate them into test cases and test SQL scripts
  2. Ability to debug the differences and document the issues identified
  3. Experience in DWH/Database Testing
  4. Proficiency with SQL language
  5. Knowledge of DataWarehousing principles is essential

Good to have Skills : 

  1. Familiarity with Cloud technologies & JIRA
  2. Experience with testing SOAP / API projects

Rolls & Responsibilities :

  • Define scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing
  • Write test plans, design test cases, develop test SQL scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results
  • Work on DWH / Database testing
  • Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Create large volumes of test data if required
  • Track and reports defect using appropriate tools such as JIRA
  • Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
  • Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
  • Communicate test status to internal project team and clients(s)
  • Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
  • Mentoring a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
