Job Description

Dentsu International Americas Treasury supports the regions banking and cash management operations along with directly managing FX and trade credit risk. This role provides support to both Global and Americas Treasury operations by being a point of contact for all routine Treasury matters. This position will also assist in forecasting, planning, and accounting activities as required.  

As an integral member of the treasury function, the Treasury Analyst (Americas) will be required to build strong relationships and coordinate across corporate departments such as Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, Legal, and Accounting. The position also offers international exposure while supporting initiatives across North and South American markets.

Role Responsibilities: 

Treasury 

  • Assist in the US cash management and investment process 
  • Support banking relations and bank account administration for all Dentsu International Americas business units  
  • Analyze and assist in streamlining cash forecasting process for each market 
  • Support new account implementations and assist with Treasury integration projects  
  • Facilitate daily electronic funds transfer approval process and ensuring execution in accordance with current policies 
  • Partner with Dentsu International support functions (Tax, M&A, FP&A, Legal) in supporting growth initiatives  

Risk Management 

  • Trade credit insurance implementation, including staff training and monitoring of compliance with the terms of the trade insurance policy 
  • Assist in the monitoring of credit exposures across Region working in conjunction with Insurance Broker and regional business units to mitigate risk  
  • Work with insurance brokers on policy issues, monthly reporting, claims follow up, and annual renewals  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field  
  • 2-3 years of experience in Treasury role preferred 

Desired Characteristics  

  • Self-starter with cash management and banking relations experience 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time lines 
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills required 
  • Working knowledge of credit monitoring 
  • Knowledge of or experience with treasury workstations and/or online banking platforms 
  • General accounting experience – understanding of accounting practices and procedures around cash transactions 
  • Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,000-$96,025. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
