Job Description

Our Media Planning Team in New York is looking to add a Sr Manager, Integrated Media Planning to our team. This role is agile, you can work remotely or in the office; whatever is the best environment for you to be successful. The team does operate on Eastern Time Zone Business hours, you will be expected to do the same. 

Reporting to the Associate Director, Integrated Media Planning to provide support and taking responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure campaigns run smoothly and to plan. You will ensure that communications strategies are translated into plans and lead the development of those plans. 

Partner with the Associate Media Directors and Directors to set the strategic tone for the assigned accounts. Assisting in the creation of all important plans and presentations. You have a working knowledge of the holistic media space and available media research. This team supports a highly visible, innovative pharma client. 

You will get to: 

  • Work with senior team members to set communications objectives 

  • Manage preparation, development, and stewardship of media plans for specific brands, and accountable for supporting the team and ensuring plans are implemented following the agency and client processes and standards 

  • Use thoughtful understanding of our client's media AOR and Reach-Based planning process to help achieve communications planning goals and media investment 

  • Oversee the reporting of competitive market/media information for each brand/category 

  • Develop time-lines for all projects 

  • Balance, prioritize and assign work associated with multiple, concurrent projects 

  • Be a resource for planners and assistants for advice, counsel and mentorship 

  • Manage expectations of clients and deliverables 

  • Lead face-to-face client and vendor meetings 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of media planning experience 

  • Experience with Project/process management orientation 

  • Well rounded, holistic media planning experience 

  • Well versed in media planning (linear and digital) 

  • Experience with mediatools, including MRI, Simmons, Nielsen, DDS, Kantar, comScore, IMS, Scarborough, Prisma

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - $106,000 annually. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
