Job Description

Provide technology leadership and delivery oversight across all large-scale Content Management System (CMS) engagements across the organization; Provide support for sales cycle, engagement scoping, define the deliverable approach, and project timelines, and outline the team structure; Provide executive-level technology guidance for clients as a trusted advisor; Chief architect for large Content Management System (CMS) based implementations across the globe for the company’s strategic clients; Drive global teams towards high-quality, well-designed, enterprise-grade Content Management System (CMS) based solutions at scale; Define scalable Content Management System (CMS) implementation processes, the blueprint of Commerce and other complex integrations, quality gates, and standards for global engagement delivery model; Define and manage the company’s portfolio of Content Management System (CMS) capabilities; and Establish and maintain technical/strategic relationships with vendors and partners.

Qualifications

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks:

  • Experience in delivering large-scale software development using Content Management System (CMS) platforms with agile methodologies;
  • Experience in leading and building global and scalable enterprise-grade applications using Content Management System (CMS) platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Acquia, OpenText, with multi-point integrations and business process implementations;
  • Experience leading global strategic technology engagements involving Content Management System (CMS) with both business and technical stakeholders defining technology roadmaps;
  • Understanding of the Content Management System (CMS) landscape and familiarity with latest technological trends even outside of the CMS domain across the industry to define strategies for how to best apply them in the organization’s context;
  • Knowledge of top Content Management System (CMS) vendors including Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Opentext, Acquia, Kentico, Contentful, Salesforce CMS;
  • Experience with front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, ECMA Script 6, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, jQuery, Angular.js), templating engines, and JSON;
  • Expertise in server-side technologies Java/JEE, Python, .NET, Spring and Hibernate, REST/SOAP web services, and XSLT;
  • Experience with major search vendors (e.g. Solr/Lucene, Elastic Search, Amazon Cloud Search, Algolia, Coveo) and best practices for integration with Content Management System (CMS) based applications;
  • Knowledge of API gateways and management software (Apigee, Azure API Management, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Kong);
  • Knowledge of SQL (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) & NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB) databases;
  • Experience with optimizing the web applications built on Content Management System (CMS) for Search Engines (SEO);
  • Experience with integrating CMS based applications with cloud provider-specific service offerings and managed platforms (Elastic Beanstalk, Azure App Service, Lambda, RDS, Amazon DynamoDB etc.);
  • Technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues across multiple domains by identifying root causes and creating solutions;
  • Proficient with user experience, business analysis / requirements, and visual design methodologies; and Showcase examples of defining investment opportunities for defining organization’s capabilities.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Technology Lead, CMS Developer or related occupation.
  • Itinerant employment - employee may be required to work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
  • Option to work from home. 

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $164,029 – $205,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company’s incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
