Job Description

The Senior Associate, Planning will steward tactical planning and providing mid-level strategic recommendations to the senior media team and clients. You'll work on a collaborative team supporting a gaming/gambling account.

  • Aid in the creation of client media communication plan objectives and strategies
  • Create media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plans and results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and competitive reports
  • Coordinate with outside media partners to plan, optimize, and report on managed service media plans
  • Write POVs and evaluate new media types / outlets
  • Support Integrated Media Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of consumer and media usage information
  • Compile reports of competitive market/media information for each brand/category
  • Mentor and oversee the work of Associate, Planning to ensure deliverables are error free
  • Assist Supervisor in advising clients on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
  • Assist Supervisor in growing business opportunities within current clients
  • Lead client, vendor and internal scaled services meetings
  • Build relationships with internal and external teams

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of communications/media planning experience
  • Knowledge of Media Ocean, MediaTools, Prisma, DCM
  • Experience within media planning tools such as MRI/Scarborough, Kantar, Pathmatics, or Nielsen Ad Intel.
  • Experience with Digital Media Activation
  • Ability to adapt plans due to changes in client goals, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to relate media performance/campaign results to client business goals

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $80,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
