Job Description

MKTG’s Sponsorship Consulting team is growing and we are looking for a Coordinator on our Sponsorship Consulting team. The Coordinator will work across a diverse roster of Tier 1 clients to bring differentiated and impactful sponsorships to life with the nation’s leading properties.  Your work will be seen by all levels of management who will help to coach you as you grow in our competitive and rewarding industry. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects developing your overall business acumen and preparing you for a career in sponsorship and brand consultation. Your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

  • Research and Insights: Conducting thorough research to understand the client’s brand, their consumers, culture, the marketplace and  the competitive landscape
  • Analyzing Sponsorship Opportunities: Supporting in the development and assessment of partnership opportunities, sponsorship strategies, and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ideation: Participating in client brainstorms, creative briefs and ideation of activation concepts
  • Asset Tracking: Tracking rights/assets utilization  
  • Developing Client Presentations: Building presentations and documentation that persuasively articulate our recommendations
  • Project Management: Supporting daily project management

Qualifications

Professional Accreditations and Knowledge

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field including but not limited to sports marketing, marketing, and business.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Mindset & Qualities

  • Self-starter that is eager to learn about the sponsorship industry
  • Agile and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented
  • Passionate about sports and entertainment
