Job Description

Merkle is seeking an Audience Platform Specialist/Business Analyst to work with clients helping to develop and manage requirements for implementations of Salesforce Interaction Studio (Marketing Cloud – Personalization). The individual will focus on understanding the client’s business requirements, identifying opportunities within the business, presenting recommendations and seeing those projects through to completion. This person should be experienced with traditional Business Analyst software development methodologies, personalization scenarios and implementation methods. This person should be comfortable communicating directly with client stakeholders. To be successful in this role, this person should be able to quickly understand and explain different technologies and solutions, explaining how they map to a client’s business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business analysis on projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Understand the project scope and high-level business requirements
  • Assist to create high-level business requirements
  • Review Statement of Work (SOW), project timeline, requirements and identify risks
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with the client
  • Analyze documentation from clients and vendors
  • Create process/data flows to create a visual representation of requirements
  • Define integration requirements for engineering teams
  • Participate in design sessions and draft personalization use case scenarios
  • Remove roadblocks for engineering team
  • Assist to create QA test cases, client acceptance test plan and management of issue log
  • Conduct showcases with clients to gather feedback throughout the project
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure deliverable quality, help other business analysts grow and learn from their work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, or related field
  • 3-6 years’ experience in formal business analyst/consulting and/or in a process-driven environment with effective documentation methods
  • Must have experience with Salesforce Interaction Studio (Marketing Cloud Personalization) – SFMC Certification is a plus
  • Must be able to thoroughly document requirements and solutions
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
  • Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with personalization/decisioning tools (such as, Thunderhead, Optimizely, Kitewheel, Dynamic Yield or Exponea) is a plus
  • Experience with Ecommerce, Content Management, CRM, and mobile platforms is a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed for project activities (typically less than 5%)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive to the root of questions/issues/concerns, identify next steps, and efficiently and effectively find resolutions

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
