Job Description
The Paralegal will fill in a critical part of dentsu’s Legal & Compliance team in the Americas. The Paralegal will work closely with the in-house legal team and with various individuals across dentsu in supporting relationships with advertiser clients and vendors (including media owners and adtech vendors). The Paralegal may also work with external counsels and paralegals under the direction of dentsu legal team. This role will strive to provide supportive and streamlined experience to our business stakeholders in close alignment with dentsu’s core values with an eye toward consistency, compliance, and sound change management.

Responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Communicate, correspond and interact with internal clients and stakeholders and outside counsel across the US, as well as globally, on various legal and administrative matters;
- Supports team lawyers in reviewing, negotiating and executing various legal documents;
- Provide training and policy guidance to internal clients and legal team members.
- Track both team and cross-functional projects and manage related workstreams to execute against project plans and deadlines;
- Support compliance initiatives and litigation-related matters;
- Take on both day-to-day and big picture initiatives to improve operation of the legal department;
- Demonstrates the ability to provide assistance in basic legal and procedural areas;
- Assists in implementing best-practices in compliance, contract management, intellectual property, data privacy and M&A;
- Organizing and archiving legal and other documents related to completed and ongoing matters, contracts and projects;
- Keeping track of changes in different legal frameworks and providing timely updates on these changes;
- Conducting research, investigating facts and drafting related reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 7 years prior experience
- Interest in the legal field
- Strong implication-thinking skills and strategic problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft Office tools (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

- Initiative and ability to work autonomously while remaining a strong and supportive member of the team
- Exercise sound judgment and recognize when to ask for help or escalate issues
- Ability to handle and protect sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion, respect, and integrity
- Strong time management, project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects/matters to closure
- Strategic thinking with an ability to leverage business sense, problem-solving skills and sense of prioritization when resolving issues

The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000-$92,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
