Job Description

The Ad Operations Specialist will own the campaign implementation process from beginning to end. Additionally, he/she will work with Media Managers across Search, Social, and Programmatic to facilitate requests in ad serving platforms, implement tagging/pixel requests, and be the point of contact for AdOps internal teams on trafficking technology and implementation.  With digital and/or work experience, this person will work independently, leveraging DCM/Sizmek, troubleshooting digital creative, JIRA ticketing system, and quickly grasp a solid understanding of digital terminology, procedures, and best practices.

The Ad Ops Specialist will act as a liaison between internal media teams in New York, Atlanta, and Chicago with all clients trafficking needs by scheduling placements, ads, and creatives as necessary throughout life of campaigns and issue tags, trackers, and creative assets to media partners, ad networks, and demand side platforms. He/she will embed additional survey, audience measurement, verification, and other tracking components for vendors such as Neustar, Salesforce, Millward Brown Digital, Nielsen, DoubleVerify, IAS, MOAT in addition to creating and managing floodlight tags to ensure proper conversion tracking.

Other responsibilities include pulling ad hoc reports, screening incoming creative according to ad server specs and technical requirements documentation, coordinating the rotation of ads and escalating any technological issues to the Ad Ops Supervisor.

The purpose of this role is to implement and execute Ad Ops initiatives, in line with the agreed strategy, to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Working knowledge of DCM/Sizmek, Google Campaign Manager, Google Tag Manager, Verification Viewability and Fraud, Dynamic Creative, Tag Management, Conversion Tags, & other Ad Technologies
  • Coordinate and meet all deliverables accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining weekly QA and documentation of all creative units, placements, URLs, click commands, back-end tags/pixels, and impression delivery
  • Support teams in preparing and delivering assets to media vendors
  • Work with media, creative and analytics teams at the onset of a campaign to help identify and implement all creative
  • Effective time-management, attention to detail and an ability to stay organized
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology and computers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of procedure within a corporate environment
  • Strong people skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google drive
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and collaboratively

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
