Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Relationship Building & Outreach  
    • A significant part of this role is recommending influencer partners for our clients. You know how to build relationships with established and up-and-coming content creators as well as talent managers.   
    • You obsessively vet partners to make sure they are the ideal fit for the brand based on strategic goals, and influencers love working with you.   
    • You have experience drafting contracts (along with the internal legal team), negotiating fees, and managing the influencer relationship from contracting through campaign wrap-up.    
  • Creative Concepting & Campaign Execution    
    • A portion of this job will be helping to create recommendations on not just who to work with but how to work with them. You will work with strategy and creative teams to produce brilliant ideas that make for amazing content and talk-worthy campaigns. Excellent writing skills are a must.  
    • You have a knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms – from Instagram to TikTok – and the nuances (ie: proper FTC compliance) that go into making compelling and engaging influencer content across channels.    
    • You will be responsible for developing campaign materials including creative briefs, key messages, and content guidelines.   
    • You have a knack for analytics and love to glean actionable insights from campaigns. You will be responsible for measuring the success of influencer initiatives, delivering reports and recommendations for future programs.   
    • You should have confidence in owning campaign execution with limited oversight. The role will be client-facing with the opportunity to relationship-build among the integrated best-in-class agency team for a nationally recognized brand.   
  • Strategic Thinking  
    • You will have the opportunity to lead brainstorms for inventive content ideas and topics that drive engagement both through influencers and social campaigns.   
    • You will work alongside the larger team to ensure that influencer content created seamlessly aligns with the brand’s social feed for usage and brief partners on that content creation accordingly.  
    • You possess the expertise to establish KPIS and benchmarks for campaigns and present them in a way that is digestible and strategically-sound.   
  • Project Management/Team Management  
    • You will be managing team workflow and serve as the senior strategic point of contact for clients.  
    • This job requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects all the way through.   
    • Organization is important, as you will be expected to complete basic administrative tasks including maintaining status documents, invoicing, and processing payments.   
    • You should have experience in project management, tracking towards and measuring success, and optimization of influencer campaigns.  
    • You will be managing 1-2 direct and indirect reports and consider yourself someone who can be invested in the professional development of your team as well as contribute to a positive agency culture.   
  • Collaboration  
    • You are open to working with different departments. As part of this role, you will work with strategy, creative, social marketing, media, and other disciplines.   
    • You are a natural contributor in meetings and are comfortable presenting internally and externally, as well as capable of bringing influencer-led ideas to brainstorms and new business developments.  

Qualifications

  •  
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years professional experience in influencer marketing, social media, digital strategy, or related field   
  • Deep understanding of paid social targeting, execution, and measurement   
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically  
  • Ability to stay organized, flexible and deliver results in a fast-paced environment  
  • Experience with influencer software tools (i.e. CreatorIQ, Captiv8)   
  • A self-starter and team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks   
  • You are plugged into pop culture and have a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing world of influencer marketing   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
