Company Description

The Manager, Operations will have day-to-day responsibility for supporting the account. They are expected to have a functional working knowledge of the media space (all channels including digital media) including standard planning and billing tools like Lumina, Prisma and DDS/MediaOcean. Manager, Operations will ensure all deliverables internal and client facing are executed according to plan and agreed timelines. They are responsible for supporting and implementing the visions of account leadership to ensure the account is operating in the most efficient and profitable manner. This includes elevating the overall quality of systems, tools and process. 

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

 

Identification and implementation of agency Best Practices

·       Supporting Associate Director, Operations in implementation of best practices for the account – systems, processes to meet all business requirements

·       Facilitate training and account team utilization of standard tools (Planning/Buying)

·       Ensure adherence to the defined account operating manual

·       Ensure Client deliverables/requirements are understood and adhered to for all team members

·       Support defined strategies for sustained operational excellence across the account(s)

·       Manage Lumina & DDS security administration, training and guidance

·       Participate in cross discipline status meetings to ensure alignment to objectives/goals

 

Strategic Thinking & Leadership

·       Support agency standardization and automation efforts for the account

·       Manage multiple deliverables and seamlessly transition among them

·       Provides leadership and expertise in assessing Media tools, solutions and workflows.

·       Project manages evaluations of new and/or alternative solutions

·       Ensures key data sets are kept accurate and up to date on an ongoing basis

·       Provides guidance to team members, nurtures/promotes team environment

·       Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities

 

Client & Internal Relationships:

·       Build positive relationships with internal and external teams

·       Ensure expectations are set, understood and met for all key deliverables – internal and client facing

 

Communications Skills:

·       Express oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications

·       Write in a clear, compelling and concise manner

·       Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially

·       Assist in development of media presentations and tactical POVs

·       Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, etc.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree

·       3+ years media planning/buying experience

·       Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint

·       Able to work well in a team environment

·       Attention to detail, strong organization and time management skills

·       Ability to contribute to improvements in processes to increase efficiencies

·       Able to pivot

·       Basic understanding of media process from start to end (plan, buying, billing and reconciliation)

·       Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; adapt plans due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
