*This is a 100% Remote position. Must be able to work ET Business hours* 

The Associate Account Director is tasked with managing business growth and leading the agency-client relationship for a set of key SEO accounts.  This role is responsible for unlocking our clients’ business opportunities, building and managing a team, and delivering outstanding client service as well as innovative solutions and offerings. This position reports to the SVP, Managing Director.  

Key Accountabilities:  

  • Implement innovative and strategic commercial solutions that balance client and agency values  

  • Build strong client relationships as trusted advisor with senior clients and industry stakeholders  

  • Work collaboratively to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results  

  • Manage team to ensure they also build strong relationships with their counterparts to deliver outstanding customer service  

  • Immerse self and team in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, industry; also knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like  

  • Accountable for operational success of outcomes and ensure deliverables are prioritized appropriately and are met on time and on budget  

  • Oversight of clients' billing activity, budgeting, expense tracking and management to ensure financial portion of agency’s relationship with client is accurate and operates correctly  

  • Lead quarterly business review meetings and participate in other client meetings as required (including new business pitches)  

  • Exhibit leadership across a cross-functional team of insights, media planning, media activation, and analytics resources to ensure work is consistent, integrated, and delivers on client objectives  

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of agency / digital media experience required 
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems for large, multi-stakeholder client organizations  

  • Ability to nurture and retain client and employee relationships  

  • Strong understanding of and experience with media planning, activation, and measurement, across both online and offline media channels but particularly digital media including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 

  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team  

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills  

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Experience working with financial data and budgets  

  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges  

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $115,000, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
