Job Description

The HR Generalist's objectives are to act as a champion and role model of our vision and values and to act as a consultant to our internal clients in the Montreal office and to function teams across Canada. 

Employee Relations:

  • Build strong partnerships and act as a trusted coach and constructive consultant to company stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers to ensure appropriate action is taken on any employee relations issues within the framework of company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for meeting new employees and conducting exit interviews for the Montreal office.
  • Ensure the process and follow-up of maternity leave departures.

Talent development:

  • Implement an effective performance development approach with managers and ensure that engaging career development plans are implemented for our employees in accordance with our career framework.
  • Manage the performance appraisal process in collaboration with the Director of Compensation as well as the HR Managers.

Talent Management:

  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning: succession and talent plans for our teams; collaborate with managers, talent and key resources.

HR Communications:

  • Ensure translation of HR documents and all HR communications from English to French, as required.

Qualifications

  • You have at least one year of experience in Human Resources (internship, contract or other) and a strong motivation to continue learning.
  • You have a basic knowledge of the HR legal framework in Quebec.
  • Perfect level of French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in the media and advertising industry would be considered as an asset.
